News: MASH Makes biofuel earns ISCC EU certification

Recently, we received the prestigious ISCC EU certification for the biofuel produced at our plant in Udupi, India. This is our second ISCC EU certification and the first for our plant in Udupi, which also produces EBC certified biochar. This makes us the only company worldwide to achieve both certifications for the same process.

Setting a new benchmark for sustainable fuel

The ISCC EU certification is a recognised benchmark for sustainable biofuel production that focuses on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and ensuring responsible resource use. To get this certification, we underwent a rigorous third-party audit of our entire supply chain—from sustainable biomass sourcing to efficient production methods.

This process guarantees that our biofuel meets the highest environmental standards. ISCC EU certification is also an effective way of demonstrating traceability of biofuel and biomass products throughout the supply chain. All biomasses and ready-to-use fuel must comply with the sustainability principles of ISCC EU to ensure full alignment with environmental goals.

Our biofuel production process includes:

  • High-efficiency reactors: Optimises for lower emissions and higher fuel yields.
  • Automated feedstock management: Minimises manual intervention and maximises efficiency.
  • Precision controls: Ensures consistent quality and compliance with ISCC standards.
  • Advanced emissions management: Reduces environmental impact.

What’s Next?

We plan to expand our biofuel production capabilities, ensuring a steady supply for both international markets. Whether you’re in the shipping industry, energy sector, or looking for sustainable fuel alternatives, MASH Makes is ready to support your transition to cleaner energy.
